Everyone on Arc is going to need USDC. Here's a reason to keep $CENTRE next to it.

Every buy and every sell pays 5%. On Arc, USDC is the native currency — so that 5% is already USDC the moment it's taken. Nothing is swapped, routed, or priced by an oracle on the way to you.

4% falls to holders in orbit. 1% to the protocol.

The whole fee schedule fits on a till roll.

The toll is taken on the USDC leg of the trade, in all four shapes a Uniswap v4 swap can take, and it is grossed up on the exact-output ones so the number is always exactly 5% of what you paid or what the pool released.

It never touches the token. Sending $CENTRE to a friend, a bridge or a cold wallet is an ordinary ERC-20 transfer with nothing skimmed and nothing burned — the contract has no owner, no mint, no pause and no blacklist.

The operator can lower the toll. There is no function anywhere that raises it.

Three orbits. The closer you sit, the harder you pull.

Put $CENTRE in the well and USDC starts falling towards you. How much of it depends on where you're orbiting — and you move inward by leaving your position alone.

Where every position starts, the moment it's deposited. One share of the flow for every $CENTRE you put in.

$CENTRE

Age is weighted by amount. Add to a mature position and it drags you back outward in proportion to how much you added — maturing a dust position for thirty days and then dropping a bag in at ×4 isn't a strategy, the deposit itself demotes you.

Leaving throws you out. A withdrawal of any size puts you back in the outer orbit and restarts the clock. USDC you'd already earned stays yours.

Nothing is ever locked. There is no lock-up anywhere in the well. Withdraw whenever you want, in any state the contract is in.

Why this only works on Arc.

A fee-sharing token has to turn its fee into something worth holding. That conversion is where these things break: a router that moves, a pool with no depth, an oracle that goes stale, a keeper that stops paying for gas.

On Arc

USDC is Arc's gas token. In a Uniswap v4 pool the native side is currency0 = address(0), and on this chain address(0) is USDC. The toll is taken there. It is a stablecoin at the instant it exists, and the path from a trade to your balance has no moving parts in it at all.
